Get the Brawl Stars Championship identity closer to the game universe

Idea

In order to bring the game’s ID into Brawl Stars esports we… literally brought the Brawl Stars universe into the real world.

We took pictures from our world, using places where our players play their favourite game as backgrounds. From there, we imagined our crew of Brawlers leaving their mark behind on these locations through stickers, jokes, scrawls and graffiti. It was important that we displayed a variety of expressions and styles to express the goofyness and variety of the Brawlers. We also worked closely with the Brawl Stars team to incorporate a few inside jokes from the community.

The end result is a colourful Art Direction with a lot of flexibility allowing it to be adapted to the many asset types required in an esports competition.
